Shipwright Service is currently seeking a Composite Service Technician to join our team! We are a leading shipyard servicing the Lac St. Louis community for over three decades. We specialize in maintaining and repairing both sailboats and motorboats while offering exceptional customer service.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with technical experience in repairing and fabricating fibreglass and gelcoat. The job will consist of repairing damaged fibreglass and gelcoat, modifying sailboat and motorboat parts, and working alongside other technicians in a variety of other jobs included in the maintenance, repair, and modification of boats.

Relevant Experience
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Working with both 1-part and 2-part paints/varnishes
- Fibreglass laminating with both polyester and epoxy resins
- Installation and troubleshooting 12V electrical systems and accessories
- Repairs to marine water systems, heads and holding tanks
- Fairing and preparation for paint (automotive, marine)
- Colour-matching and repairing gelcoat damage
- Familiar with ABYC standards
